Sureño

This piece is inspired by the music of the Southern Andean region of Latin America and its intetion is to evoke the Zamba dance from Argentina. However this piece should not be understood as a Zamba composition as it draws influences from other Andean dances present in Latin American Folklore. 

My intention writing this piece is to uplift the folk traditions of Latin America and to pay homage to the great guitarists and composers that have contributed to the guitar repertorie.
